Each group will have 15 to 20 minutes for their presentation followed by some time for questions and answers from the class.

I want to know is the format of presentation MUST be swf?

The format of the presentation does not have to be SWF. It can be SWF, PDF, Powerpoint or something else if you would like to use it and it will work on the computer in the classroom.
The key point is to design the presentation yourself and do not use templates!
